Casualties and Damage from Overnight Assault
Local media in Kherson confirmed two deaths and 14 injuries from the strikes.
Nine homes, medical centers, schools, an administrative office, a gas station, and several vehicles sustained damage.
In Odesa, at least one person suffered injuries, while Chornomorsk faced the heaviest destruction.
Governor Oleg Kiper reported major energy infrastructure damage, leaving 29,000 residents without power.
He confirmed restoration efforts had begun, with generators maintaining critical infrastructure.
Zelenskyy Highlights Russian Losses in Donetsk
Zelenskyy condemned the strikes as Russia’s third large-scale attack this week.
He said Russia’s actions show the war will continue without global pressure.
The president also reported heavy Russian losses in Pokrovsk, where Moscow concentrated its forces.
Zelenskyy stated Ukrainian units are fulfilling tasks in Donetsk and systematically destroying invading forces.
He claimed Russia has lost over 290,000 soldiers killed or severely wounded in eight months.
